Request for Proposals for Design, Construction Management, and Operations Of a FTTP Network
Faribault County, Minnesota has been awarded a broadband grant under the 2021 CommunityDevelopment Block Grant Coronavirus Program (CDBG-CV). The grants were processed andapproved the by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development’s (DEED)Small Cities Development Program Staff.The Grant Award Area specifically funds building fiber-to-the-premise to all residential locationsin the cities of Bricelyn, Delavan, Elmore, and Frost - all located in Faribault County.The amount of the grant award is $2,554,165.00. This RFP is seeking a qualified ISP Respondentwilling to accept that amount of grant to design and build the fiber network and then serve as theISP in these cities. The bid should outline an engineer, internet provider, and independent inspectorto complete the project.
